Section 1 continued Week of 11/8/10-11/12/10

What is the significance of Montag seeing his reflection in Clarisse's eyes? Seeing himself in Clarisse's eyes?

What things do the McClellans do which cause them to be classified as peculiar?

  1. When Montag sees himself in her eyes he starts to face reality and see what he actually is and how his life is.

The McClellans sit around all night talking about the past and how things used to be. They also tell Clarisee how things used to be. Also, Clarisee doesn't go to school.

  3. When Guy sees his reflection in Clarisse's eyes, he understands that he has done wrong, and that he has to wake up and face reality for what he made it.

The McClellans are odd because they kinda just keep to themselves, and talk about a lot of things from the past. It's weird because what they talk about is behind them, and it seems like they still live in it.

  4. The signifigance of Guy Montag Seeing himself in Clarisse's eyes is that he realize that he has done wrong in his life and wonders about all the books he's burned over the years and thinks about the men behind them that wrote them and tells himself he needs to see reality for what it is.

The McClellans are Consiered odd because the talk and think about past events while staying up all night also by the fact that they question why things are the way they are.

  5. when guy sees his reflection in Clarisse's eyes he finds out that hes done wrong, then thinks to himself what if i had read the books instead of burning them.

The McClellans are what people would say odd because they always talk about past events, they just seem to talk about everything in the past
